Butterflies (SSC)

The Butterflies

The Butterfly class is a Small Specialist Class providing education for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The class consists of up to 10 children, all of whom have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). Children will have a variety of different needs. For the majority of children, their main need will be communication and interaction. Places in the Butterfly class are allocated via the Local Authority.
