Nursery Transition September 2020

Welcome to Templemoor Nursery!

Welcome to Templemoor Nursery! We are delighted that you are joining our Templemoor Family in September 2020! If this is your first experience as a parent at our school, it can be pretty nerve wracking at the best of times and with government restrictions in place at the moment this isn't going to make it any easier! For those of you who have done this before, this time will be different.

Ordinarily, we would be writing to invite you to a number of special events, meetings and induction days. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 crisis, this is not possible this year. However, we very much hope that the virtual transition materials and events that we have planned, will help to make the transition from home to school a relaxed and happy one. We are going to do everything we can to help you and your children settle in and be ready to start school in September.

On this page you will find a range of materials to help you with the transition process. We have uploaded the following:

  • The Nursery Transition Process and Timetable.
  • The Nursery Induction letter that was sent to all parents in May 2020.
  • Nursery Transition Home Learning Booklet.
  • Our brand new Nursery Handbook and Returnable Forms.
  • Our updated Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club Handbook and Club Registration Form.
  • A Virtual Tour of the Nursery Classroom, and a chance to meet the Nursery Team.
  • Weekly Nursery Story Times, where the Nursery Team will read a story!
  • Information about Mellors Catering along with an Allergens Parent Pack.
