End of Key Stage One Teacher Assessment Results 2017
Assessment in primary schools was reformed in 2016 and a new expected standard has been created, which reflects a higher standard.

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check 2017
In 2017, 93% of our Year One children achieved the expected standard in the phonics screening check at the end of Year One compared to 81% of pupils nationally, and 84% of children in the Local Authority.
In 2017, 100% of children achieved the expected standard in the phonics screening check by the end of Key Stage One compared to 92% of pupils nationally and 94% of pupils in the Local Authority.
End of Early Years Foundation Stage Results 2017
In 2017, 81% of our reception children achieved a good level of development at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage compared to 71% nationally and 73% Local Authority. Further comparisons can be downloaded in the link below.
